The Long House is an ideal holiday house for families, or for one or two couples, up to a maximum of six people in all.

Kintra is an old fishing and crofting community in a peaceful sheltered bay on the northwest tip of the Ross of Mull. It overlooks the sound of Iona and is, at low tide, a mass of rock pools and the haunt of small crabs, sea urchins, sea anemones and shellfish. It affords a safe anchorage for those who wish to bring a boat and is ideal for canoeists, with sheltered rocky islets on the Mull side of the Sound of Iona. Oystercatchers and gulls nest round the bay with herons on an island just off the coast.

Welcome to The Long House, Kintra

Isle of Mull

We are in process of changing from self catering, which we have done since Easter 1980 to letting to a local person in need of accommodation at a sensible, for Mull, rate. So I am afraid that we will not be offering self-catering in the near future
